- Apply hair color using advanced color theory principles; offer highlights, balayage, and other coloring techniques to enhance client looks.
- Incorporate hair extensions and eyelash extensions to create dramatic transformations or subtle enhancements.
- Utilize salon software like MINDBODY for appointment scheduling, client records management, and retail sales tracking.
- Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools, stations, and work areas in accordance with health regulations.
- Offer personalized consultations on hair care routines, product recommendations, and retail sales opportunities to boost client satisfaction and store revenue.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of hair styling techniques, barbering skills including straight razor shaves, and advanced coloring methods rooted in color theory.
- Proficiency with salon management software such as MINDBODY for booking appointments and managing client information.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly, listen actively, and build lasting client relationships.
- Experience with retail sales strategies including upselling products like hair care items, makeup products, nail care essentials, and retail math fundamentals.
