Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and professional Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. Prior experience with POS systems, wine knowledge, and fine dining service is highly valued. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast POS
• Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash and credit card payments accurately
• Upsell menu items, including wines and specialty cocktails, to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards
• Assist with food handling, sanitation, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
• Clear tables and bus tables efficiently to maintain cleanliness and readiness for new guests
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, wine pairings, and spirits to enhance guest experience
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly
• Maintain a clean and organized work station in accordance with sanitation standards
• Support guest relations by addressing inquiries professionally and ensuring overall guest satisfaction

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles preferred; fine dining or hospitality experience is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service standards
• Ability to upsell menu items effectively to maximize sales opportunities
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
• Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately
• Food safety certification or knowledge of sanitation practices preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed in the hospitality industry
