Responsibilities
- Deliver practical driving instruction in standard passenger cars, to develop students’ confidence and competence
- Lead online instruction sessions utilizing virtual tools to reach remote or busy students effectively
- Teach advanced driving techniques including highway maneuvers, night driving, adverse weather handling, defensive driving, and special needs driver instruction
- Guide students through driver rehabilitation programs to improve skills after incidents or violations
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to enhance their learning experience
- Maintain detailed records of lessons taught, student performance, and certification requirements
Requirements
License Pennsylvania driving Instructor
- Proven experience in senior driver instruction with the ability to teach both beginner and advanced drivers
- Strong knowledge of standard passenger car operation, manual transmission
- Ability to teach specialized courses such as defensive driving, adverse weather techniques, highway maneuvers, night driving, and driver rehabilitation programs
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels
- Demonstrated patience and adaptability when working with teen drivers or individuals with special needs
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; proficiency in working with manual transmissions preferred
