Project Manager
Custom Rugs & Carpet | Hospitality & Multifamily
About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and driven Project Manager to join our team in the custom rug and flooring industry. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can balance sales, client relationships, and project execution.
You will manage the full lifecycle of custom rug and carpet projects—from initial outreach and quoting to production, shipping, and final delivery—while ensuring a seamless client experience and strong project profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
- Oversee projects from quote approval through final delivery
- Coordinate with internal teams, factories, and external partners
- Track timelines, monitor progress, and proactively address any issues
- Ensure all project details are executed accurately and on schedule
Financial & Operational Oversight
- Manage project financials, including deposits, balances, and final invoicing
- Track profitability and ensure projects meet margin goals
- Coordinate commission tracking and cost management
- Assist in improving internal processes and systems
Logistics Coordination
- Coordinate international and domestic shipping
- Work with freight forwarders and carriers to manage timelines and deliveries
- Resolve shipping or documentation issues as they arise
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in sales, project management, or a related field
- Experience in hospitality, multifamily, interiors, or construction industries preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and client-facing abilities
- Financial awareness and ability to manage budgets and margins
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (experience with project tracking tools is a plus)
