Responsibilities
- Perform quality collision repairs on a variety of vehicles
- Straighten and measure vehicle frames
- Weld damaged panels and components as needed
- Repair or replace exterior body panels
- Maintain high standards for workmanship and attention to detail
- Work efficiently while following safety and quality procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of automotive body repair experience
- State of Michigan Body Repair Certification required
- Proficient in body, frame, and mechanical repair
- Experience using frame measuring and straightening equipment
- Strong welding and panel repair/replacement skills
- I-CAR certifications are preferred but not required
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good manual dexterity and ability to perform physical repair work
- Strong communication skills with customers and coworkers, both in person and by phone
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Must successfully complete background and driving record checks
