Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Assistant Superintendent to support construction projects in Dinuba, California. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, construction site experience, and proficiency with company-standard software. This role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring safety compliance, and coordinating between teams to deliver quality projects on time. The Assistant Superintendent will play a crucial role in maintaining project schedules, managing subcontractors, and ensuring all OSHA and SWPPPS safety protocols.
Duties
- Unlock homes under construction daily upon arrival and lock up at the end of each day
- Cleaning of streets, gutters, lots, inside of homes of debris daily
- Assist the Superintendent in planning, coordinating, and supervising construction activities on-site
- Oversee subcontractors and labor teams to ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and according to plans
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to ensure accurate implementation
- Conduct quality control inspections to verify work meets specifications and standards
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and SWPPS regulations and enforce safety protocols on-site
- Follow direction given from Superintendent, Project Manager, or Office Management
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, clients, and vendors to resolve issues promptly
- Daily communication with Superintendent and/or Project Manager with progress and issues
Experience
- Supervising experience on construction sites is recommended
- Demonstrates leadership skills in supervising teams
- Ability to stand for long hours
- Being able to work in any type of weather
- Basic Computer Skills (Microsoft word, excel, outlook)
- Lift over 50 pounds
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Reliable transportation (current jobsite will be in Dinuba, Ca)
Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
