1st Shift: 08:30 AM – 3:00 PM
2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Position Summary
The Warehouse Operator is responsible for supporting daily warehouse, material handling, and inventory control functions in a cGMP-compliant environment servicing pharmaceutical, nutritional, biotech/pharma, and medical device operations. This role ensures accurate receipt, storage, staging, labeling, and distribution of materials while following SOPs, GDP documentation standards, and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
Material Handling & Warehouse Operations
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming raw materials, components, and finished goods.
Perform material put-away, picking, staging, and issuing to production lines according to SOPs.
Load and unload trucks using pallet jacks, forklifts, or other approved equipment.
Maintain accurate inventory levels through cycle counts and reconciliation activities.
Prepare packaging materials for production support and shipping.
Documentation & Compliance
Complete all paperwork and electronic entries following cGMP and GDP requirements.
Ensure proper labeling, lot traceability, and documentation accuracy.
Maintain and update logs, receiving records, and shipping documents.
Follow SOPs for material quarantine, release, storage conditions, and segregation.
Quality, Safety & Regulatory Compliance
Follow cGMP, SOP, OSHA, and company safety policies at all times.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse, docks, and storage areas.
Support internal/external audits by ensuring compliant, up-to-date records.
Report deviations, damaged materials, or non-conformances immediately.
Equipment Operation
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and warehouse management systems (WMS).
Perform basic equipment inspections and communicate maintenance needs.
Handle temperature-sensitive or controlled materials per SOPs.
Qualifications Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year experience in a warehouse, material handling, or logistics role.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, bend, or walk for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cGMP/GDP documentation procedures.
