Warehouse Operator (2nd shift)

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Warehouse Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse distribution and possess a strong understanding of materials handling, shipping, and receiving processes. This role requires proficiency in operating various warehouse equipment, including forklifts and order pickers, while adhering to safety regulations and company policies.

Duties

• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and order pickers to load and unload materials efficiently.
• Perform order picking tasks accurately using RF scanners to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders.
• Manage shipping and receiving processes, including inspecting incoming goods for quality and accuracy.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following OSHA guidelines to promote safety within the warehouse.
• Assist in heavy lifting and materials handling as needed to support warehouse operations.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve overall efficiency within the warehouse.
• Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage stock locations effectively.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure proper functionality.

Experience

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment is required; experience as a warehouse supervisor is a plus.
• Familiarity with heavy equipment operation, including cranes and forklifts.
• Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for troubleshooting equipment issues.
• Experience with order picking processes and using RF scanners for inventory management is preferred.

Pay: $64,000.00 - $77,000.00 per year
