Studio Host – Art Escape Laconia,NH
Part-time | $13–$15/hr tips | Friday & Saturday availability required
Art Escape is a walk-in creative studio where families, friends, and visitors come to relax, laugh a little, and make something fun together. We’re looking for someone friendly, reliable, and comfortable helping guests have a great experience from the moment they walk in the door.
You do not need to be an artist for this role. Being welcoming, helpful, and confident working with people matters much more.
Pay
$13–$15/hr base pay plus tips
Tips vary by shift and season, but staff commonly earn an additional $3–$8/hr
Schedule Expectations
- Friday and Saturday availability required
- Typical schedule is 12–20 hours per week
- Additional weekday or evening shifts may be available based on availability
- Some shifts involve independently running the studio during open hours
What You’ll Do
- Welcome guests and help them get started with projects
- Answer questions and make visitors feel comfortable trying something new
- Keep the studio clean, organized, and running smoothly
- Ring up sales using Square POS
- Carry and safely handle customer artwork
- Reset tables, restock supplies, and follow daily checklists
