Role overview:
We are seeking an experienced Fair Marketing & Experiential Manager to lead the execution of marketing and experiential initiatives for Art Basel Miami Beach. Reporting directly to the Head of Fair Marketing & Experiential (Global), this role owns the day-to-day delivery, tactical development, and on-site execution for one of the most high-profile fairs in the international art calendar.
The role combines hands-on execution with strong tactical judgement, contributing ideas, improvements, and executional recommendations within established global frameworks. It plays a critical role in ensuring that Art Basel Miami Beach delivers a distinctive cultural moment through strong attendance, ticketing performance, audience engagement, and brand impact.
Your responsibilities:
Marketing & Experiential Delivery
- Lead the execution of integrated marketing and experiential campaigns for Art Basel Miami Beach, aligned with global strategy.
- Coordinate the development and rollout of marketing assets across channels, ensuring brand consistency and cultural relevance.
- Deliver on-site brand experiences and activations in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
- Identify and test new marketing formats, tools, and approaches to enhance audience engagement and campaign performance.
Go-to-Market Execution
- Execute go-to-market plans and campaign launches for Art Basel Miami Beach.
- Manage the ticketing portfolio and related marketing initiatives to drive attendance and revenue.
- Own and drive ticket sales performance through targeted marketing initiatives and campaign optimisation.
- Manage campaign timelines, deliverables, and milestones to ensure on-time execution.
- Manage the fair marketing and experiential budget, ensuring disciplined spend control and performance optimisation.
Audience-Led Marketing
- Deliver always-on and peak fair marketing activity before, during, and after the fair.
- Implement audience-led initiatives through testing, optimisation, and performance tracking.
- Ensure marketing initiatives are informed by audience insights and real-time performance data.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as the primary day-to-day marketing contact for show management, brand, communications, ticketing, VIP, digital, commercial, and operations teams.
- Coordinate inputs, feedback, and approvals to ensure smooth campaign execution.
- Support on-site marketing delivery during fair build-up, live days, and post-fair wrap-up.
Agency & Partner Management
- Brief, coordinate, and manage agencies, partners, and freelancers supporting marketing and experiential initiatives.
- Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards, timelines, and budget expectations.
Your Profile:
- 6–9 years of experience in marketing, brand experience, event marketing, or integrated campaign execution.
- Experience delivering marketing campaigns for large-scale events, fairs, or cultural experiences.
- Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Solid understanding of digital, social, content, and experiential marketing.
- Experience working with agencies and cross-functional teams.
- Fluent in English; Spanish is a strong plus.
- Willingness to work flexibly during key fair periods.
Salary : $110,000 - $120,000
