Location: Cypress, CA 90630
Position Type: Part-Time
Schedule: Mondays, 4:45 PM – 8:15 PM
Additional hours may be available in the future

Compensation:
$35 per hour

About Us
Art & Heart is a creative art studio dedicated to nurturing children’s confidence, creativity, and self-expression through meaningful art experiences. We work with students ranging from toddlers to 12th grade, focusing on both artistic development and emotional growth.

Position Overview
We are looking for a warm, responsible, and passionate part-time art teacher who enjoys working with children of all ages. The ideal candidate brings patience, creativity, and strong communication skills to the classroom.

Responsibilities

• Teach engaging art classes for students ages 3–18 (toddlers to 12th grade)
• Guide students in creative expression using a variety of materials (drawing, painting, mixed media, etc.)
• Manage and lead a class of up to 6 students with care and attention
• Foster a positive, encouraging, and structured classroom environment
• Support students’ individual growth in both skill and confidence
• Communicate effectively with staff and parents when needed
• Prepare and organize materials for each class

Qualifications

• Must be bilingual in Korean and English
• Experience working with children (teaching, tutoring, or similar)
• Patient, nurturing, and positive attitude
• Strong sense of responsibility and professionalism
• Background in art, design, or art education preferred
• Ability to confidently manage a small group setting
