Job Summary:
An outstanding opportunity to join our client, a global leader in metal components and nano stamping solutions for the electronic and electric connector industry. We are searching for a Director of Sales to lead commercial strategy, expand market share, and strengthen customer relationships across OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and key accounts in transportation, data centers, aerospace, and defense markets.
The Director of Sales will be accountable for driving sales growth, expanding the funnel, and ensuring customer responsiveness while aligning closely with engineering and production teams. The position reports directly to executive leadership, manages a team of 3–4 sales professionals, and is viewed as a succession candidate for long-term P&L ownership.
Our client will only accept USD payroll.
Key Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 10 years of sales or business development leadership experience within the electrical and electronic components/connectors sector.
- Experience in stamping, precision stamping, or connectors (nano stamping is a strong plus).
- Proven record of building and converting sales funnels, expanding OEM and Tier 1 accounts, and driving consistent revenue growth.
- Industry knowledge of transportation, data centers, aerospace, and defense connectors.
- Experience leading high-performing teams, instilling accountability, and building a culture of performance.
- Expertise in RFQ process management: quote value, turnaround speed, and conversion into backlog.
- Strong financial acumen: forecasting, backlog management, and incentive structures.
- Fluent in English (oral and written).
- Hybrid availability: 40% remote / 60% on-site in York, Pennsylvania.

Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies to exceed revenue targets.
- Strengthen and grow relationships with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, aerospace, defense, and data center customers.
- Oversee the entire sales funnel: lead generation, RFQs, pipeline health, forecasting, and conversion to backlog.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team, fostering accountability and high performance.
- Collaborate with engineering and production to align customer requirements with manufacturing capacity.
- Participate in capacity planning, order fulfillment, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Monitor quote responsiveness, delivery timelines, and backlog conversion.
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and customer meetings.
- Contribute to long-term business planning and serve as a succession candidate for P&L leadership.
