Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Welder role based in Lowellville, OH. The Welder will fabricate, repair, and modify metal components used in drilling tools and related equipment, following engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions. Daily responsibilities include setting up welding equipment, selecting appropriate welding processes and materials, and performing high-quality welds on a variety of parts and assemblies. The role also involves inspecting welds for quality and safety, grinding and finishing welded components, and performing basic maintenance on tools and equipment. The Welder will collaborate with technicians and production staff to meet project deadlines, follow safety procedures, and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in welding processes, including Welding, Arc Welding, MIG Welding, and TIG Welding.
- Knowledge of Materials, including properties of metals commonly used in industrial and drilling applications.
- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, gauges) accurately.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to OSHA and company safety standards.
- Previous industrial, manufacturing, or heavy-equipment welding experience preferred.
- Welding certification or vocational/technical training in welding or metal fabrication is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move materials as required, and work in a shop environment.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
