- Respond swiftly to roadside assistance calls, assessing vehicle issues on-site and determining the best course of action.
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform repairs such as changing tires, jump-starting or installing new batteries, fuel delivery and lockout services.
- Safely operate company vehicles to reach customer locations promptly while adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols.
- Maintain detailed records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used for accurate reporting and inventory management.
- Communicate clearly with customers to explain repairs, provide reassurance, and ensure a positive experience.
- Conduct routine inspections of roadside assistance equipment and tools to ensure safety and readiness at all times.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot common vehicle issues efficiently.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools.
- Experience with vehicle maintenance procedures including fluid checks and minor repairs.
- Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively in various roadside environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to customer service.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating large or commercial vehicles is a plus.
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks outdoors in diverse weather conditions.
