Role Description
This is a part-time, possibly going to full-time, on-site role for a Physician Assistant located in Thousand Oaks, CA. The Physician Assistant will work closely with Dr Aswani and other healthcare professionals to provide primary and specialty care to patients. Responsibilities include patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and collaboration on care strategies. The role also involves performing medical procedures, prescribing medications, and educating patients about their conditions and health management. Additionally, the Physician Assistant will participate in improving clinical processes and ensuring high-quality standards in patient care.
Qualifications
- Clinical competencies in patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Experience performing medical procedures and prescribing medications
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills for developing and implementing effective care strategies
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team setting and adapt to a fast-paced environment
- State licensure as a Physician Assistant and current certification from an accredited PA program
- CPR and ACLS certification
- Experience in a primary care or specialty care setting preferred
