Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager to oversee operations in our fast-paced entertainment environment. Arrows is a 8,000 sq ft indoor playground, cafe & birthday party venue. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing daily operations, supervising staff, and ensuring that all aspects of the cafe and indoor playground run smoothly and efficiently. Leading by example.
Duties
- Supervise daily cafe & playground operations to ensure high standards of food quality and customer service.
- Train, develop, and mentor staff to enhance their skills and performance.
- Manage shift schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels for peak service times.
- Oversee kitchen operations, including food preparation, safety protocols, and cleanliness standards.
- Implement training programs for new hires and ongoing staff development initiatives.
- Maintain inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Collaborate with the Assistant Manager to achieve operational goals and improve service efficiency.
Experience
- Previous experience in a managerial role within a coffee shop or food service environment is preferred.
- Previous experience with kids or an events background is encouraged.
- Strong background in training development and staff supervision is essential.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations and shift management practices is highly desirable.
- Experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is a plus but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate a team effectively.
