Responsibilities
- Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, grooming, and exercising dogs and other pets.
- Maintain cleanliness in the kennel area by regularly cleaning cages, kennels, and common areas.
- Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to kennel staff or management.
- Help with administrative tasks such as record keeping and scheduling appointments for pet care services.
- Engage with pet owners to provide updates on their pets' well-being and address any questions or concerns.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills related to animal care.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in kennel settings or animal care is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of basic animal behavior and handling techniques is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage large or energetic animals safely.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and pet owners.
