What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Manager position at Arrowood Mfg?
Arrowood Designs, a commercial cabinet & millwork company, located in Norwood, NC near Lake Tillery, is looking for a "Can Do" Manager that is interested becoming an integral part of our Management Team.
The focus of this position is to maximize our Production and Quality by holding our Production and Operations staff Accountable for their Performance. To achieve this, you will:
Assign Daily Production Expectations
Interact with Our Project Managers to meet their Job Site Requirements- Run our Production Meetings
Monitor Product Quality
Oversee our Purchasing Person
Hiring and Firing of Production Staff
Interact with Design Engineers to assure Best Design
Oversee Shipping and Delivery
Although a background in millwork or woodworking would be nice, People Management and Organization Skills are the primary requirements for this position. You must have management experience to be considered for this position.
This job requires a great deal of interaction with other members of our team, including Project Managers, Purchasing Agent and Design Engineers and they will expect you to be as committed to Excellence as they are. As stated above, we are willing to go outside of our Industry to find the right person with People Management experience, Organizational Skills and most importantly a "Can Do" attitude.
Arrowood works as a subcontractor primarily for large, sometimes multi-billion dollar, commercial construction companies in the Mid Atlantic and Southeastern US. We also work on US Government Projects nationwide. Our office is extremely casual, but our Industry demands that our work be very Professional. We are looking for a special person to become an important and respected member of our team.
