About the Role
This is a full-time, in-office editing role focused on producing short-form video content for Arrowleaf's client portfolio across social media platforms. You'll primarily work in post-production — cutting, pacing, and finishing short-form content — with occasional on-set shooting support when needed. All equipment is provided.
Responsibilities
Editing & Post-Production
- Edit short-form video content to client briefs — Reels, TikToks, Shorts, and platform-agnostic cuts
- Pace, cut, and finish content that stops the scroll and drives engagement
- Add captions, motion graphics, transitions, and sound design as needed
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on time
- Maintain organized project files and a clean asset library
- Incorporate client and account manager feedback through revision rounds
Production Support
- Assist on-set with camera operation when needed — secondary to editing duties
- Capture supplementary footage for social content when assigned
Collaboration
- Work closely with the creative and account teams on content briefs
- Deliver assets in platform-specified formats and within deadlines
- Contribute ideas during content planning and pre-production
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, applicants must be able to answer yes to the following:
- At least 6 months of professional short-form video editing experience — personal projects alone do not qualify
- Proficient in DaVinci Resolve and/or Adobe Premiere Pro — must be able to demonstrate on request
- Short-form editing portfolio or reel required — no reel, no conversation
- Experience editing content for brands, clients, or employers (not just personal accounts)
- Ability to manage multiple editing projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Strong instincts for pacing, storytelling, and what makes short-form content perform
Nice to Have
- Experience with motion graphics or After Effects
- Familiarity with color grading log footage
- On-camera shooting experience with mirrorless or cinema cameras
- Experience editing content across multiple client accounts simultaneously
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $39,000 – $55,000 per year, commensurate with experience
- Benefits package in development — anticipated by end of year
- Full-time, in-office position — Garden City / Boise, ID
