The Sr. Claims Examiner position will manage an inventory of third-party bodily injury and property damage claims arising under a municipal insurer's automobile and general liability insurance policies.
How You Will Contribute:
- Managing an inventory of third-party bodily injury and property damage claims arising
- under a municipal insurer's automobile and general liability insurance policies
- Providing superior customer service
- Obtaining favorable claim conclusions through coverage determination, investigation,
- evaluation, communication, reporting, reserving, negotiation, and subrogation
- Demonstrating excellent skills in investigation, evaluation, communication, computer use,
- and time management
- Ability to work independently and effectively with clients, brokers, attorneys, and other
- departments
- NY General Adjuster’s License
- Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Relevant experience handling third-party bodily injury and property damage claims
- Relevant experience and knowledge of business of claims adjusting and basic coverages
$85k - $100k Annual
