Job Summary:
The Patient Services Specialist is responsible for providing excellent customer service to patients while managing front desk operations. This role ensures a smooth patient experience by greeting patients, managing appointments, processing patient information, handling insurance verification, collecting payments, and assisting with day-to-day administrative duties.
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare or front desk setting preferred.
- Experience with EHR systems, patient registration, and insurance verification preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Other Abilities:
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage patient needs and concerns effectively.
- Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate with other clinic staff and departments.
- Knowledge of HIPAA and medical office procedures to ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
Location: Glendale
Schedule: M-F 9:45 a.m. – 6:45 p.m. and one Saturday a month (rotation)
