Freight Sales Representative (Base Uncapped Commission)

Arrowhead Freight powered by Tallgrass Freight is a growing freight brokerage based in the Kansas City area, focused on project freight, construction, and manufacturing customers.
We’re building a small, high-output sales team and looking for someone who wants to develop real sales skills, build a book of business, and earn uncapped income over time.
What This Role Looks Like
This is a pure sales position.
Your focus is generating new business, closing customers, and growing your own book.
Our operations team handles the freight after the deal is closed so you can stay focused on selling.
Day-to-day:
- Outbound calls to generate new opportunities
- Building relationships with shippers and decision-makers
- Quoting and closing freight opportunities
- Growing long-term customer accounts

Compensation
- Base salary: $45,000
- Uncapped commission on margin
- Residual earnings on accounts you close
- Realistic first-year earnings: $70K–$120K
- Long-term potential: $150K–$250K as accounts grow
