Arrowhead Freight is looking for a competitive, driven Carrier Sales Representative to join our team in Shawnee, Kansas.
This role is responsible for finding and securing reliable trucking capacity for our customers' freight. You'll spend a large portion of your day talking with carriers, negotiating rates, solving coverage problems, and building relationships with trucking companies across the country.
We move everything from standard flatbed freight to step decks, Conestogas, expedited shipments, oversized equipment, construction materials, machinery, and project freight. Every day is different, and some days move fast.

What You'll Be Doing
- Source and secure carriers for daily freight opportunities
- Make outbound calls to trucking companies and owner-operators
- Negotiate carrier rates while protecting company margins
- Build long-term relationships with reliable carriers
- Develop repeat capacity on common lanes and equipment types
- Post freight and actively source trucks through load boards and our carrier network
- Confirm equipment type, availability, pricing, and shipment requirements
- Work closely with our operations and account management teams
- Recover shipments quickly when carriers fall off or plans change
- Identify potential service, capacity, or pricing problems before they become emergencies
- Maintain accurate carrier and load information in our transportation management systems
- Help expand Arrowhead Freight's network of dependable carriers

Experience in carrier sales, dispatching, freight brokerage, transportation, logistics, or truckload operations is a plus.

Compensation
Base Salary: $50,000–$55,000
This position also includes performance-based incentive opportunities tied to carrier sourcing, buying performance, service quality, and overall results.
