Summary:
This position is responsible for assisting the department Supervisor with the overall output, quality, condition and capability of the warehouse, including receiving, picking, packing, storage and shipping of products to meet the customer needs.
Duties:
High School Diploma or GED required.
2 years of warehouse operations experience preferred.
RF handheld experience required.
Certified to operate forklifts, cherry pickers and swing reach trucks.
Strong proficiency in English communication including reading, writing, and verbal interactions are required for complying with safety protocols and operational procedures.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk on level surfaces for a prolonged period. The employee frequently is required to talk and hear; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms above should height and below the waist. The employee must be able to lift up to 20 lbs. 70% of the day and up to 65 lbs. 30% of the day.

Duties:
- Must be able to perform all duties of a Warehouse Associate II and Material Handler II.
- Assist Warehouse Associates in prioritizing work.
- Assign Warehouse Associates to areas as needed to meet warehouse demands.
- Assist with interviewing, hiring and training employees.
- Assist with disciplining employees.
- Address employee complaints and resolve problems.
- Effectively use KPI’s and other means to drive continuous improvement to increase quality, efficiency, productivity, and resource utilization.
- Collaborate with Customer Service on issues and special projects.
- Assist the Warehouse Supervisor to manage personnel issues including time off requests and timecard approval.
- Understand all work functions in area of expertise and maintain sufficient knowledge to serve as a back-up in all areas within the warehouse.
- Work with Human Resources for staffing needs.
- Perform weekly forklift inspections.
- Assist with ensuring accurate inventory counts.
- Responsible to see that all equipment and tools in the area are in proper working order.
- Assists with running productivity reports.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and orderliness.
- Follow all safety rules.
- Other duties as assigned.
