Teacher 1: Starting Wage $25.64
Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education, or if working in an infant and toddler center a Child Development Associate (CDA).1,040 hours of Early Childhood work experience. Current Pediatric First Aid/CPR certification or be able to obtain. Able to lift up to 50 pounds and be able to kneel, bend, stoop, and sit to attend to children’s needs. Possess computer/technology skills. The ability to pass a background study.
Teacher 2: Starting Wage $27.17
Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related degree focused on Early Childhood Education. If working in an EHS Center may need to obtain Center Based- Infant/Toddler CDA. Experience working with young children and families. Current Pediatric First Aid/CPR Certification or able to obtain. Able to lift up to 50 pounds, and be able to kneel, bend, stoop, and sit to attend to children’s needs. Possess computer and technology skills. Ability to pass a background study.

Full-time Teacher 1 or 2 needed in an Infant/Toddler classroom in Virginia, MN. Starting wage varies based on experience; Teacher 1: $25.64/hr or Teacher 2: $27.17/hr. - Manages classroom and maintains compliance with federal performance standards and state licensing requirements
- Responsible for the safety of all children through the compliance of Head Start policies and procedures
- Provides individualized and quality care of children in a group setting, including toileting or diapering and feeding as needed
- Plans, implements, and individualizes curriculum to foster, support, and strengthen children’s development
- Conducts all child screenings, ongoing assessments, and needed referrals
- Conducts and implements home visits, conferences, field trips, and transition meetings
- Responsible for timely documentation of all required program data
- Participates in a team approach to meet child, family, and program requirements
