Applications Engineer

Position: Applications Engineer Job Description: Job Description Design and develop software solutions to meet business requirements. Engage in the full software development life cycle including testing, implementation, and auditing. Perform solution design, bug verification, and beta support, which may require research and analysis. Execute, assess, and troubleshoot software programs and applications and analyze and amend software errors in a timely and accurate fashion. Participate in software upgrades, revisions, fixes and patches as mandated. Design, develop and document specifications throughout the project life cycle and work on coding, developing, and documenting software specifications throughout the project life cycle. Guide developers on issues related to the design, development, and deployment of mission-critical information and software systems. Review work of development teams. Minimum Requirements Requires a master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 3 years of experience in the Applications Engineer position, Applications Developer, job offered or related occupation. Also requires the following skills: Developing applications using Java and Spring; Working in a team & conducting User Acceptance Testing; Database updates & table creation using Oracle DB technologies; Using Agile methodology for project delivery; and Development of SOA/REST services & Angular. Position allows for telecommuting from anywhere in the U.S. We are offering a salary of $142,314 to $156,545 per year.
