Title: Manufacturing Engineer (Electrical)

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Manufacturing Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will serve as a vital link between Engineering and Operations—supporting large-scale FAT/EQT product testing, driving process improvements, and enhancing overall product quality and production efficiency. This position offers the opportunity to influence key engineering processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing floor.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret approved design models and drawings to support electrical and light mechanical assembly, ensuring accurate communication of technical requirements to production teams.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase the efficiency, quality, and consistency of assembly, testing, and QA procedures.
- Collaborate closely with production leads to troubleshoot challenges, develop engineering solutions, and support smooth production flow.
- Assist in the creation and execution of Engineering Change Requests (ECRs).
- Contribute to root-cause analysis with QA and help implement corrective and preventive measures across the manufacturing process.
- Partner with Engineering and Operations to research and implement new tools, methods, and best practices that optimize assembly processes.
- Support Project Managers to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or related technology field required.
- Hands-on experience in an electrical assembly or production environment.
- Strong understanding of electrical standards including CSA, UL, and NEC.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting manufacturing drawings and electrical schematics.
- Experience with AutoCAD; SolidWorks experience is considered a strong asset.
- Familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage.
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel across North America, and occasionally internationally.
- High attention to detail with accuracy in calculations and documentation.
