CNC Setup Machinist (Mills Only)3, 4 & 5-Axis | Aerospace Manufacturing2nd Shift | Temp-to-Hire | Riverside, CAWe are seeking a high-level CNC Setup Machinist with full setup capability and a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience on 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC mills. This is a 2nd shift, temp-to-hire opportunity in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment.This role is ideal for a skilled setup machinist who takes pride in precision, owns their setups from start to finish, and is ready to step into a shop where 5-axis machining is becoming the main platform.What You Will Be DoingPerform complete machine setups including tools, offsets, fixtures, and verificationSet up and operate 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC milling machinesConduct first article and in-process inspectionsPerform tool changes, offsets, and machining adjustmentsRead and interpret blueprints, routers, setup sheets, and work instructionsPerform edge-breaking and deburring for safe handlingMaintain consistent quality, documentation, and engineering standardsCommunicate all machining issues, discrepancies, and improvement ideasMaintain clean, organized, and safe work areasFollow all company procedures, safety policies, and attendance requirementsRequired Skills & Experience (Non-Negotiable)Minimum 5 years of CNC setup experienceMust have full setup capability with all toolsStrong 4-axis and 5-axis CNC milling experienceExperience with Haas machines and Fanuc controls requiredAerospace manufacturing experience requiredStrong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledgeSkilled with precision measuring instrumentsAbility to work independently and within a team environmentMust be comfortable working 2nd shift#ArrowPandoLogic.
