Market Development Leader (MDL) - Aerospace
Position: Full-Time
Location: North America
We're seeking a results-driven Market Development Leader to join the Aerospace segment team in a pivotal role responsible for spearheading innovation-led growth initiatives and unlocking new market opportunities. The role will involve conducting market research, identifying emerging trends, and developing and executing go-to-market strategies for new verticals, new business models, and new offerings. This role will report directly to the Global Market Leader, Aerospace.
Responsibilities
- Lead targeted market assessments and competitive analysis to strengthen the global segment strategy
- Cultivate relationships with industry stakeholders and partners that accelerate market penetration and uncover new opportunities
- Manage cross-functional innovation programs to successfully develop new offerings, grow existing applications, and establish new businesses
- Collaborate with regional market leaders to help accelerate strategic initiatives
Specific Initial Focus Areas
- Focus on driving revenue related to Kevlar EXO - progress opportunities in MMOD and Space, expand Fuel bladders and webbing/cordage within aerospace markets, and identify new adjacencies
- Lead market intelligence and segmentation for legacy yarn applications (Nomex and Kevlar)
- Perform RMAs for Aerospace industry adjacencies: eVTOL, Satellites, rotorcraft
- Help provide organization and support to translate competitive intelligence into insights
Qualifications:
- Learning Mindset proficiency in uncovering market dynamics and customer behavior and articulating impact to our business
- Strategic Thinking ability to translate learnings into insights, and drive insights into prioritized actions
- Project Management demonstrated experience in cross functional collaboration and execution
- Partnership Building competency in negotiation and structuring relationships both internally and externally
