Schedule:Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, & Saturday 10pm-6am
Pay Rate: $13/hr
Duties
- Monitor premises using CCTV surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity and prevent theft or vandalism
- Conduct thorough security patrols of the property, including buildings, entrances, exits, and surrounding areas
- Perform background checks on visitors, contractors, and vendors to verify identity and authorization
- Respond promptly to emergency situations by administering first aid or CPR when necessary and coordinating with emergency services
- Manage conflict situations with professionalism, employing conflict management techniques to de-escalate issues effectively
- Operate security equipment such as Taser devices, AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators), and CCTV systems to ensure safety measures are upheld
- Assist with manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting or moving equipment while adhering to safety guidelines
- Enforce loss prevention policies by monitoring for theft or unauthorized access and taking appropriate action when needed
Requirements
- Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable
- Valid certifications in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and Taser use are required; additional certifications in CCTV surveillance or law enforcement are a plus
- Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques, CCTV systems, and security protocols
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently with heavy lifting when necessary
- Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Demonstrated capability to perform background checks accurately and thoroughly
- Physical fitness to stand for extended periods, conduct patrols, and respond swiftly during emergencies
