Our client is an established fund services provider focused on alternative asset managers, offering tailored administration, accounting, and investor support solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the day-to-day accounting and operations of each client engagement
- Supervise and manage all aspects of the client engagement’s scope of work
- Oversee and manage the set-up of deliverables for each assigned client including capital calls, distributions, financial statements and supporting workpapers
- Review all bookkeeping and accounting records including general ledger and financial statements in accordance with governing documents and reporting standards
- Assist with new fund transition and/or set up including new clients, new legal entities, and new investors
- Assist with various ad-hoc special projects and client requests
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 7-9 years of related experience within financial services
- Experience supervising a staff a must
- Experience at a fund administration preferred
- Knowledge of alternative investment funds and related financial reporting
- Experience reading fund governing documents
- Strong knowledge of realized and unrealized waterfall allocations
- Experience with Investran accounting software preferred
