Responsibilities
- Perform daily and monthly P&L reconciliations between front‑office and back‑office systems for the firm’s global investment portfolios
- Investigate and resolve P&L breaks across asset classes including equities, fixed income, and derivatives
- Produce clear and accurate daily P&L variance reports and communicate key drivers and findings to relevant stakeholders
- Finalize portfolio manager P&L in front‑office systems based on thorough variance checks, calculations, and analytical review, directly impacting investment decisions, investor reporting, and compensation processes
- Respond to P&L inquiries from portfolio managers, traders, and investment services colleagues, providing timely, well‑reasoned, and insightful responses
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance accuracy, control, speed, and efficiency within P&L reconciliation and analysis workflows
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or business
- 5-7 years of experience in product control, P&L, or operations at a hedge fund, asset manager, or investment firm
- Strong knowledge of financial instruments across multiple asset classes
- Proficiency in Excel
