About The Company

Our client is a global asset management firm operating a multi-strategy platform that includes fundamental equities, systematic and quantitative strategies, and macro investing. The firm supports a large network of portfolio managers and investment teams through centralized risk management, technology, and operational infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily and monthly P&L reconciliations between front‑office and back‑office systems for the firm’s global investment portfolios
• Investigate and resolve P&L breaks across asset classes including equities, fixed income, and derivatives
• Produce clear and accurate daily P&L variance reports and communicate key drivers and findings to relevant stakeholders
• Finalize portfolio manager P&L in front‑office systems based on thorough variance checks, calculations, and analytical review, directly impacting investment decisions, investor reporting, and compensation processes
• Respond to P&L inquiries from portfolio managers, traders, and investment services colleagues, providing timely, well‑reasoned, and insightful responses
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance accuracy, control, speed, and efficiency within P&L reconciliation and analysis workflows
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or business
• 5-7 years of experience in product control, P&L, or operations at a hedge fund, asset manager, or investment firm
• Strong knowledge of financial instruments across multiple asset classes
• Proficiency in Excel
  
  

Salary Range

$110,000-$140,000
