Our client is a multi-billion dollar family office with strategies in the alternatives space, including hedge funds and private equity. The Investment Data Specialist will focus on public markets investments.
Responsibilities:
- Collect hedge fund manager information from various sources and compile comprehensive database universes by systematically codifying, inputting, and analyzing data
- Conduct regular and ongoing maintenance of fund manager information utilizing internal systems and databases, as well as identifying and addressing any data issues
- Support due diligence and onboarding processes for external fund managers
- Perform periodic formal reviews of invested manager data
- Fulfill ad hoc portfolio manager-specific requests pertaining to fund managers/investment universes
- Contribute to the team’s efforts to continuously identify opportunities to streamline the fund manager data collection/maintenance processes and develop an optimal support model
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 1-3 years of experience in the financial sector
- Systems knowledge of Geneva, Investran or other fund accounting systems
- Proficient in Excel
- Working knowledge of Bloomberg and knowledge of SQL a plus
