Our client is a technology driven, multi-asset investment firm operating on a global scale. The Clearing Associate will support the clearance and settlement of fixed income products for the firm.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end trade clearance and settlement of U.S. Treasury transactions through FICC
- Monitor trade flows and ensure accurate trade capture, allocation, and matching
- Liaise with counterparties, custodians, and FICC to ensure smooth trade settlement
- Support regulatory and industry reporting requirements related to fixed income clearance
- Identify, investigate, and resolve breaks, fails, and settlement discrepancies
- Contribute to the development of policies, procedures, and controls
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3-6 years of experience in fixed income operations
- Experience within U.S. Treasuries clearance and settlement preferred
- Strong understanding of FICC processes, margin, and settlement cycles
- Experience working with clearing systems, trade matching platforms, and custodians
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements impacting fixed income clearing
