Job Description:
Arrow Electronics is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic individual that works well in a fast-paced computer and electronics distribution center in Reno, NV as a Programming Machine Operator Lead. You will support the Production Floor in assigning the overall work activities of the Programming Center, and interface with the leadership team to ensure an efficient operation, with maximum utilization of available human and material resources.
Shift Time: 8:00am - 4:30pm; Monday - Friday

Programming Machine Operator Lead
Job Description:
Arrow Electronics is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic individual that works well in a fast-paced computer and electronics distribution center in Reno, NV as a Programming Machine Operator Lead. You will support the Production Floor in assigning the overall work activities of the Programming Center, and interface with the leadership team to ensure an efficient operation, with maximum utilization of available human and material resources.
Shift Time: 8:00am - 4:30pm; Monday - Friday
What You'll Be Doing:
- Communicate order status to customer service and leadership team
- Assign work to associates
- Plan and manage WIP
- Inspect outgoing orders
- Motivate and lead team to achieve production goals
- Train and develop associates
- Assist associates to ensure smooth operations on the floor
- Conduct daily huddles and participate in production meetings
- Support lean initiatives by participating in Kaizen events, CPI projects, and implementation of new/additional processes
- Other duties as assigned
What We Are Looking For:
- Typically requires a 2-year degree and 2-4 years of related experience, or high school graduate with equivalent related experience
- 3-5 years of management experience
- Preferred knowledge in WMS, ETQ, Oracle, DMS, and K2 Tool
- Strong communication, motivational skills, and fostering a positive work culture
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Must have a flexible work schedule, and work overtime as needed
