We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing electrical projects on construction sites, ensuring that work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all relevant regulations. The Electrical Supervisor will play a crucial role in managing project timelines, budgets, and quality control while supervising a team of electricians.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of electricians on construction sites.
- Review project plans and schematics to ensure accurate implementation of electrical systems.
- Manage quality control processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations, including OSHA guidelines.
- Utilize project management tools such as Prolog and Primavera for scheduling and budgeting tasks.
- Monitor project progress against contracts and timelines, making adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior electricians, fostering a culture of safety and excellence.
- Collaborate with other trades on-site to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems within the overall project framework.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, and installation practices.
- Familiarity with project management software such as Prolog and Primavera is preferred.
- Experience in budgeting and managing project costs effectively.
- Understanding of quality control processes related to electrical work.
- Ability to read and interpret construction contracts and specifications.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a diverse team.
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.
