Job Summary
The Outside Sales Representative plays a vital role in driving sales growth and profitability for the company. This dynamic role involves generating new business through cold calls and leads, while maintaining existing accounts and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and secure new accounts through strategic sales efforts
- Provide existing customers with necessary products, support, and information
- Prepare and communicate quotes, terms, delivery dates, and service obligations
- Resolve customer complaints and issues
- Assist in collections and coordinate project schedules
Requirements
We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional with:
- At least 3 years of sales experience in building materials or a related industry
- Working knowledge of building materials and products, with negotiation skills
- Estimating from blueprints and basic computer skills
- A strong ability to plan, prioritize, and collaborate to meet organizational goals
