Position Overview:
As a Corrugated Packaging Sales Representative, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth by developing and maintaining strong customer relationships. You will leverage your industry knowledge and consultative selling skills to identify client packaging needs, present innovative corrugated solutions, and close new business opportunities. This position works closely with the design, production, and customer service teams to ensure seamless delivery of high-quality packaging solutions. This role requires a creative mindset, strong and attention to detail skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional results.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect, qualify, and develop new business opportunities within target markets.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients, acting as their trusted packaging advisor.
- Conduct consultative sales calls, presentations, and facility tours to understand customer packaging requirements and recommend tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with the Corrugated Design Lead and design team to develop custom packaging concepts that meet client objectives for protection, branding, cost-efficiency, and sustainability.
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through order fulfillment and ongoing account management.
- Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and advancements in corrugated packaging materials and technologies.
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of successful B2B sales experience within the manufacturing industry, preferably in corrugated packaging or packaging products.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals and developing new accounts.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, preferably in corrugated packaging materials, printing, structural design, and sustainability options.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport through all levels of an organization.
- Self-motivated with a hunter mentality and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
