Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet clients and their pets, managing check-in/check-out processes
- Handle multi-line phone system, schedule appointments, and respond to client inquiries
- Process payments and maintain accurate client records
- Assist veterinary staff with animal restraint and handling during examinations (if needed)
- Support the medical team with basic procedures and vaccination preparation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in reception and exam areas
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months experience in a veterinary hospital setting
- Proficient with veterinary practice management software and general office applications
- Understanding of common vaccination protocols and veterinary terminology
- Strong ability to safely handle and restrain animals of various sizes
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
