About the Role The priority function of this position is machine maintenance. Candidates should bring strong technical skills in this area; the rest can be taught on the job. We are looking for individuals who embrace variety in responsibilities and are eager to learn. Importantly, this is a team‑based role—you will not be working alone to solve problems, but rather collaborating with colleagues to keep our operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities include maintenance, repair, and upkeep of company machinery and building systems. This may involve assisting in construction or renovation projects, general maintenance of plumbing, heating, air conditioning, electrical systems, and minor repairs to equipment.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Five years of experience maintaining operations in a manufacturing facility
- Strong knowledge of construction principles, grounds keeping, HVAC, electrical, pneumatic control systems, waste systems, and chemical/specialty gas dispense systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in maintenance roles
- Basic computer knowledge
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on molding presses, grinding machines, ECM cut‑off saws, electric motors, HVAC systems, electro polish, automatic cleaning systems, gluing stations, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, PLCs, VFDs, and metal forming equipment
- Troubleshoot malfunctions using SOPs, diagrams, manuals, and precision instruments
- Dismantle and repair defective parts using hoists, hand tools, and power tools
- Inspect and adjust parts using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments
- Maintain inventory of equipment, parts, and supplies
- Document maintenance activities and prepare work orders
- Stay current with technical knowledge, SOPs, GMP, RCRA, DOT, and safety training
- Ensure a safe and clean working environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand throughout an eight‑hour shift
- Perform other duties as required
