Job description
Employment Type: Full Time M – F 8:00 – 5:00
Responsibilities:
- Process check requests and expense reports on a regular basis
- Accurately review, code, and process vendor invoices
- Perform monthly reconciliations including but not limited to Bank, Vendor, and credit card statements
- Maintain a large number of vendor accounts while staying in compliance with company policies and procedures
- Perform data entry associated with accounts payable
- Review and reconcile invoice discrepancies
- Audit and process credit card bills
- Address and respond to vendor and customer inquiries
- Customer collection calls as needed
- Process daily deposits
- Enter and process weekly payroll
- Process and submit 401K transmission
- Workers Comp and Sales & Use Tax experience a plus
- Assist with month-end closing
- Assist with audits as necessary
- Administrative duties as required
- Answer phones and help with scheduling when lines are busy
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma. Associate's degree in Accounting preferred.
- 2 – 3 years' experience with accounts payable/receivable or general accounting
- Proficient Microsoft Office knowledge and skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- High degree of attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Multi-tasker with the ability to remain focused with distractions and interruptions
- Must be able to handle deadlines
- Possess a high degree of confidentiality
- Must be a fast learner and have the ability to self-teach through SOPs.
