Business Development Strategy & Execution
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, lead generation, and strategic outreach.
- Analyze potential markets, client segments, and service offerings to uncover growth opportunities.
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies that align with ARRO’s long-term goals.
- Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, particularly municipalities and municipal authorities.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients by understanding their needs and offering solutions that align with ARRO’s capabilities.
- Ensure high client satisfaction and leverage opportunities to cross-sell or upsell services.
- Track, analyze, and report on performance using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), such as:
- Number of qualified leads generated
- Proposals submitted
- Sales booked (signed contracts)
- Revenue impact (current year and backlog)
- Provide actionable insights to the Executive Leadership Team based on trends and performance.
- Collaborate with technical teams to develop compelling, customized proposals.
- Guide the go/no-go process for project pursuits based on ROI, strategic alignment, and resource availability.
- Oversee timely submission of high-quality proposal materials.
- Increase ARRO’s market presence by representing the firm at industry conferences and networking events.
- Coordinate with marketing to ensure consistent and impactful communication across all platforms.
- Lead targeted outreach campaigns focused on priority service lines or geographies.
- Bachelors degree in communications, business, marketing, or engineering is required.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in business development, with a strong preference for candidates in the engineering consulting industry.
- Proven track record of closing complex sales and securing long-term clients.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
