Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of residential, commercial, and outdoor areas to identify pest activity and entry points.
- Apply chemical agents safely and accurately according to pesticide management guidelines and pesticide application knowledge.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, ladders, farm machinery, and other equipment to perform pest control treatments effectively.
- Follow strict safety protocols including ladder safety procedures, confined space entry safety procedures, respiratory protection, and chemical handling regulations.
- Implement integrated pest management strategies tailored to each situation, emphasizing environmentally responsible solutions.
- Maintain detailed records of chemical applications, pest activity reports, and treatment logs for compliance and follow-up purposes.
- Engage with customers professionally to explain treatment plans, answer questions, and ensure high levels of customer service satisfaction.
Experience
- Prior experience in pest control or related outdoor work such as lawn care, farming, landscaping, or agriculture is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of entomology principles related to pest identification and behavior is a plus.
- Familiarity with pesticide management practices and pesticide application procedures is required.
- Comfort operating company vehicles safely and efficiently during routine service calls.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, ladder use, farm machinery, or other mechanical equipment is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to adhere to safety protocols including ladder use safety procedures and confined space entry safety procedures.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients from diverse backgrounds.
