Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and hard-working Cashier to join our team! As a Cashier, you will ring up sales, take payments, and issue receipts. You will provide excellent customer service by ensuring all transactions run smoothly. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in customer service, knowledge of cash register operation, and Food service. Serve Safe certificate is not required but is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Greet each customer with a smile and actively assist while they are shopping
- Work the register to ring up sales and complete transactions
- Collect payments by cash and credit card
- Issue receipts and refunds to customers
- Participate in product promotion events and initiatives to drive sales
- Maintain a solid knowledge of product inventory to assist customers with their selections
- Prepare and serve Hunt Brothers Pizza
- Maintain safe and sanitary work area
- Bag Ice
- Stock Coolers and shelves
- Perform general housekeeping in all areas
Qualifications
- Ability to read, count, write, and communicate clearly and effectively
- Understanding of sales techniques and best practices in customer service
- Willingness to work unsupervised
- Time Management is a must
- Ability to quickly and accurately work a register
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule
Compensation: $8.00 - $16.00 per hour
