Qualifications
•1-3 years of experience in construction estimating and project management
•Proficient in Microsoft Excel and estimating software
•Ability to read and interpret engineering plans and specifications
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Responsibilities
•Estimator needed for a commercial concrete and structural steel subcontractor
•Use drawings to generate needed RFI's to customer
•Use drawings to prepare take-offs and estimates
•Coordinate between customer and steel detailer to facilitate production of structural steel shop drawings
•Coordinate between customer and rebar detailer to facilitate production of rebar shop drawings (when needed)
•Manage projects awarded by keeping good communication with customer, coordinating the deployment of man-power, keeping track of hours worked to control overtime, and prepare change orders when needed for submittal to customer
Compensation: $50,000.00 per year
