Array Theater is looking for a dependable, hardworking Production Technician to help create incredible experiences for thousands of guests visiting the Smoky Mountains each year.This isn't just a backstage job, it's an opportunity to be part of a professional entertainment team producing multiple live productions, including variety shows, magic shows, concerts, and seasonal productions.Every performance depends on an amazing crew, and we're looking for someone who takes pride in making every show run flawlessly.What You'll Do
- Assist with stage setup, scenery, props, and backstage organization
- Prepare the theater before each performance
- Help performers with backstage needs and quick set changes
- Maintain equipment and report maintenance needs
- Assist with loading, unloading, and moving production equipment
- Troubleshoot technical issues quickly and calmly during performances
- Help with rehearsals, special events, and new show installations
- Work with the production team to continually improve the guest experience

- Dependable and punctual
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to stay calm under pressure during live performances
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic mechanical or technical aptitude
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet throughout the shift
- Comfortable climbing ladders and working around stage equipment when necessary
- Available to work evenings, Saturdays, and holidays as scheduled
ExperienceExperience with any of the following is a plus, but not required:
- Live theater
- Concert production
- Lighting systems
- Audio systems
- Video production
- Stage management
- Rigging
- Construction or mechanical trades
- Electrical work
- Event production
