Role Description Production Operators Lead, A, and B are full-time, on-site positions located in Lafayette, LA, responsible for safe and efficient operation of production facilities and equipment. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring and operating machinery, adjusting controls to maintain optimal production rates, and performing routine checks to ensure equipment is functioning within safety and quality standards. Team members will assist with start-up, shutdown, and troubleshooting of production lines, accurately record production data, and report any deviations or equipment issues. Leads will coordinate daily workflows, support training of other operators, and help enforce safety, environmental, and company procedures. All roles collaborate closely with supervisors, maintenance, and other operations personnel to meet production goals and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Production Operations skills, with experience in operating and monitoring industrial or oil and gas production equipment.
- Candidates should possess Quality Control skills, including attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and accurate documentation of production data.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to coordinate with team members, supervisors, and other departments, and to clearly report operational issues.
- Candidates for lead roles should possess Training skills, with the ability to mentor, guide, and support other operators in following procedures and improving performance.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include basic mechanical aptitude, familiarity with oil and gas production operations, ability to read and follow operating procedures, and proven reliability in shift-based or field environments.
