The BIM Manager, plays a critical strategic and educational role in support of Array offices and our staff as we continue to advance our utilization of Revit and other architectural technology platforms.
Responsibilities
- Implement, and oversee company-wide BIM standards, procedures, and protocols in collaboration with technical and design teams.
- Participate in multi-disciplinary BIM coordination meetings and facilitate resolution of complex design and coordination issues.
- Provide hands-on support for BIM software suite, troubleshooting issues and ensuring optimal performance.
- Work under Senior BIM Manager to create and maintain of the enterprise digital design library, including families, templates, Dynamo scripts, and applications.
- Evaluate project deliverables for compliance with BIM execution plans, standards, and client requirements.
- Interface directly with clients to define BIM deliverables, ensuring projects are executed as per agreed-upon BIM protocols.
- Promote continuous improvement by leveraging analytics to derive insights from project metrics.
- Train and mentor project teams in BIM best practices through both informal and formal learning sessions.
- Remain abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending tools and methodologies to further advance our BIM capabilities.
- Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices in BIM technology and incorporate relevant innovations into our processes.
- Foster cross-disciplinary collaboration among engineers, designers, contractors, and other stakeholders through effective BIM implementation.
- Collaborate with IT teams to maintain and upgrade BIM software and hardware infrastructure.
- Lead training programs to educate internal teams on tools and methodologies.
- Ensure data integrity and quality within BIM models and databases.
- Conduct regular BIM audits and quality control checks to ensure model accuracy and compliance. Ensure that BIM deliverables are completed on time and meet project specifications and standards.
- Bachelor's degree in architecture, interior design, Engineering, or Construction Management.
- 10 years of AEC industry experience with a strong focus on BIM.
- Expert-level proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Strong understanding of industry standards and BIM coordination.
- Problem-solving ability with a keen eye for detail.
