About the Position:

Arra Finance is looking for a VP of Human Resources to be based full-time in our Dallas Texas office.


The VP of Human Resources will provide expert guidance and partnership to our executive team, managers, and employees across all areas of HR. This includes talent acquisition, benefits administration, payroll, employee relations, internal communications, training and development, performance management, organizational design and compensation. This role plays a critical part in shaping and sustaining our organizational culture, enhancing employee engagement, and driving business performance. As a key member of the leadership team, this individual will ensure HR strategies align with business goals while maintaining full compliance with all applicable regulations. The ideal candidate is a visionary yet hands-on leader who excels in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and brings both strategic foresight and operational excellence to the HR function.


Key Responsibilities


Strategic Leadership

•Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive and management teams on all HR-related matters

•Oversee all HR initiatives, systems, and operations company-wide

•Build and lead a high-performing HR team aligned with company goals

•Support leadership across departments in achieving people-driven business outcomes


Training & Communications

•Deliver training to managers and staff on topics such as onboarding, benefits, payroll, goal-setting, performance evaluation, and compensation

•Lead internal communications strategy in partnership with company leadership, ensuring timely and effective messaging across the organization

HR Operations & Employee Relations

•Develop programs to foster employee retention, satisfaction, and engagement

•Proactively manage employee relations and partner with legal counsel as needed to resolve issues

•Administer and continuously improve performance evaluation and compensation tools to ensure market competitiveness

•Maintain and update the employee handbook and HR policies and procedures

•Ensure full compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local employment laws


Benefits & Payroll Administration

•Manage employee benefits programs and maintain accurate records

•Ensure compliance with COBRA, HIPAA, and other benefits-related regulations

•Manage vendor relationships with benefits providers and broker

•Oversee payroll processing and payroll reporting in various states


Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

•Drive full-cycle recruiting efforts in partnership with hiring managers to attract and hire top talent

•Build strong relationships with third-party recruitment firms as needed

•Continuously improve the candidate experience and hiring process to align with company needs


Qualifications:


•Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

•10 years of progressive HR leadership experience, ideally in a mid-size or growing organization

•Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices

•Proven experience in employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, payroll, recruiting and compliance

•Exceptional communication and leadership skills

•Ability to operate both strategically and tactically

•Management experience
