- Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic components in vehicles, including wiring, lighting, sensors, and control modules
- Perform minor mechanical repairs and adjustments, such as brake and suspension work, wheel alignments, and fluid changes
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and troubleshoot automotive issues accurately
- Ensure all work is completed to high-quality standards and follows manufacturer specifications
- Maintain detailed records of all repairs, parts used, and services performed
- Communicate with customers to explain repairs and provide estimates for services
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues
- Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and industry trends through training and professional development opportunities
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary automotive training is a plus
- Proven experience as an automotive technician, particularly in electrical and electronic systems
- ASE certification or equivalent is preferred
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
- Proficiency with automotive diagnostic tools and software
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
